p:IGI+ export templates to enable import into p:IGI-3
This page contains links to page templates we have created for p:IGI+ and Metis Transform, and the corresponding import template we have created for p:IGI-3 to enable you to move data from p:IGI+ / Metis Transform to p:IGI-3.
- BaseInfo page [p:IGI+ page template]
- Rock Screening (Pyrolysis, Kerogen Type, Maturity) pages [p:IGI+ page template]
- Hydrocarbons (Hydrocarbons, Extract) pages [p:IGI+ page template]
- Whole oil GC (Gas Chromatography, Gasolines) pages [p:IGI+ page template]
- High Resolution Molecular (Steranes, Terpanes, Misc Biomarkers, Aromatics, Mono-Aromatic Steroids, Tri-Aromatic Steroids, Age Related Biomarkers) pages [p:IGI+ page template]
- Isotopes (Isotopes, GC-IRMS) pages [p:IGI+ page template]
To import the files into p:IGI-3 we have created a p:IGI-3 linking template. To use this you will need to:
- Import all the above page templates, using the Project -> Import template ... option.
- Select the Project -> Export data ... option. After selecting the file into which to export the data, select to Filter properties (columns) by page ... . Select the above pages, in the order given above (this is important for import linking). You can also select to use sample sets in your project to filter the samples.
- Once your data is exported from p:IGI+ to a text file, you can use the p:IGI-3 text import option and apply the provided p:IGI-3 linking template.
Note we have created one single large p:IGI+ / Metis Transform page with all the p:IGI-3 properties on it in the right order, and you can use this if you prefer - it could be slow to open in large projects!
There are several caveats to the page templates we provide. The process of moving data from p:IGI+ to p:IGI-3 is likely to involve considerable loss of information. You might want to modify the pages to provide GCXX data in heights or areas or concentrations - by default we use the unknown indicator. You also might want to change the analyses we assign - we have suggested plausible defaults.
An older version of the page templates only is available, which has metadata on each page to identify the wells / samples so each page can be exported separately.
