2016 Update Released for IGI’s Norwegian Sea Geochemical Database
IGI has completed the annual update of our Norwegian Sea Geochemical Database and accompanying Well Manager File. This brings the database up to date for 2016 and includes all data released via the NPD Factpages website up to the end of December 2015.
The database now over 29,000 samples from 196 wells, including over 240 oils, 590 gas samples and approaching 28,000 rock analyses. TOC content is reported for over 15,000 samples with most of these also having additional pyrolysis data. Molecular data are widely available for more than 1300 samples and the isotopic composition of over 1200 samples are reported. Maturity data in the form of vitrinite reflectance values are present for more than 3500 samples.
